Just beat it.

One of the random ideas that came out recently here at sgBEAT was Beat Roulette - an anonymous SMS chat service built on top of our platform. Yup, as you would have guessed, this idea was inspired by the popular chat sites, Omegle and Chatroulette.

Beat Roulette works in a similar fashion to those two sites, only instead you get paired with a random member of the sgBEAT community for an entire day. The roulette is spun every midnight, so regardless of how your previous conversation goes, you’ll get a new stranger everyday.

So what’s exactly the purpose of something like Beat Roulette?

Not much, to be honest, but we figured that it’ll be something really fun to try, and we decided to build it for our users. We’ve had our awesome Rockstars (you can be one too!) test it for us over the past few days and the response has been fantastic, so we’d like to open it up to even more of our users.

Here’s the deal: if you’re a member of this wonderful sgBEAT community, we would love for you to try out this new service.
